Meet the Holiday Vacation Rentals Staff

Meet some of the staff that help make memorable experiences and serve rental guests!

Jessica

Jessica has 14 years experience in vacation rentals. Prior to joining HVR in 2008 Jessica worked with Birchwood and Harbor Springs Realty rentals. Jessica’s responsibilities include working with homeowners, setting up new rental properties in the company operating system and reservations sales. Her passion for helping customers and rental guests shines in her friendly greeting. Rental guests have said just speaking to Jessica has helped to lift their day and make it more enjoyable. Jessica enjoys boating with her husband and friends on her days off.

Stephanie

Stephanie joined HVR in 2011 and is responsible for sales marketing and rental promotions. Along with reservation sales Stephanie oversees promotional activity, our new Facebook, Twitter, and Google+ pages, and will be maintaining the company’s website. Stephanie graduated from Iowa State University in 2010 with a degree in Marketing and International Business and has interest in the tourism and travel business. She recently relocated to Petoskey and is engaged to be married in June 2012. Stephanie enjoys traveling and being outdoors in her personal time.

Jared

Jared handles scheduling Birchwood Property Management (BPM) services and is also a realtor with Coldwell Banker Schmidt Realtors. BPM is the property care and services department of Holiday Vacation Rentals which manages several condominium associations in addition to private residences. Jared and his wife Nicollette are enjoying their new born baby girl, Sierra.

Nicollette

Nicollette has returned after maternity leave and has moved from reservation sales into managing owners accounts. While continuing to support reservations activities and scheduling housekeeping services, she is now responsible for Property Damage Protection Insurance claims and rent payments to owners. Nicollette and Jared are enjoying parenthood and remodeling their new home.

Dawn

Dawn is a valuable team member having worked for HVR for many years and is well known for her experience in housekeeping and exceptional care and attention to detail. Dawn performs cleaning services for rental properties and is regularly requested by owners for private cleaning.

Jim

Jim works in Birchwood Property Management maintenance services. Jim is very service minded with an easy going personality that customers appreciate. Jim handles many of our emergency calls by rental guests and from property owners.

Kathie

Kathie manages billing and bookkeeping and sets the standards of the company rentals and housekeeping services. Kathie attends several VRMA professional training and development conferences each year to stay abreast of industry trends. She is the mother of 5 children, has two grandchildren, and has a caring personality that extends to our rental guest and customers. Kathie enjoys her family and traveling. She is a 20 year veteran and board member of Win-some Women Christian retreats which hosts 5000 to 6000 women at spring and fall retreats on Mackinac Island each year.

Alan

Alan is the managing director of HVR and oversees the operation of the company’s condo association management and resort operations. Alan has over 25 years of experience in hospitality management, advisory services and hotel/ resort business investments and property sales. Alan is a member of the Board of the Vacation Rental Managers Association (VRMA) and an advocate of the vacation rental industry. A recent accomplishment of the VRMA is the launch of a new reality TV series being released on PBS called Getting Away Together. The show features experiences of families and groups while staying in a vacation rental in various destinations around the US. Alan has been working on sponsors to bring a show production to Northern Michigan that would promote the lifestyle, activities and attraction of vacation rentals in our area.
