The Burt Lake Lodge comes complete with three master suites. The first with a king sized bed is located on the main floor off the living room. Open the doors leading to the back deck to let the cool breeze fill the room in the afternoon. The master suite also has a gas log fireplace, TV, and a walk-in closet for your use. The romantic master bath has beautiful rustic tiles, dual sinks, a glass walk-in shower, and a large jetted tub.
Walking up the stairs from the living room you will find the additional three guest bedrooms. To your right is the yellow master bedroom, a cheerful yet elegant retreat with a queen sized bed and complete with a private back deck, TV, gas log fireplace, and walk-in closet. The bathroom has an antique feel with a glass walk-in shower and a jetted tub behind beautiful white pillars. Across the lofted hallway overlooking the living room is the green master bedroom with a queen sized bed. This bedroom also has a private back deck, TV, and walk-in closet. The elegant bath has dual vessel sinks, glass walk-in shower, and large mirrors. A fourth bonus bedroom sits above the garage with a private bath. This bedroom has two queen beds, a TV, bath with a glass walk-in shower, and ample amount of space. Kids will be thrilled when they find the hidden miniature door leading to a small playroom.
The open lower level is a fun hangout for the entire family. The rustic design of the family room will make you feel a part of nature while you sit back watching the large flat screen TV or light a fire in the stone wood burning fireplace. The large bar and kitchen area is the perfect place to entertain your guests. A pool table and card table are a great way to start a friendly competition with your guests. Off the family room you will also find a small exercise room complete with a treadmill and elliptical as well as a TV. Step outside from the bar area to the lower deck and breathe in the fresh Michigan air. The lower patio is a fantastic place to relax in the shade of the upper deck and look out across the lake. Be sure to take the steps down to the lower level of the yard. Although there are about 60 steps to get up or down, the steps has two platforms with benches along the way perfect for resting and taking in a new view of the water. With 100 feet of frontage, warm days will be enjoyed playing in and on the water. A private dock is available for your use, so be sure to bring your boat. The nearest boat landing is 1/2 a mile away in Indian River. The yard has a natural shoreline consisting of grass and rock but most guests choose to enter the sandy bottom lake from the dock. Cleanup after a day on the water is easy in the beach house complete with a full bath. Just bring your own beach towels. Be sure to purchase s'mores supplies while grocery shopping for your campfires around the beautiful fire ring.
Additional amenities come with your rental of the Burt Lake Lodge. A front load washer and dryer are located in the large laundry room off the kitchen and are a great option to wash your beach clothes after a day in the sun.
