Welcome to the 4-star Timber Ridge Lodge, the perfect place for your next family reunion or large group getaway in Northern Michigan. Located just outside Boyne City, the Timber Ridge Lodge offers seclusion and amazing views that the entire family will enjoy. As soon as you enter this home you will be awed by its massive size with attention to detail. The main living room is beautifully decorated with a welcoming log home feel. The living room has large windows and glass doors leading out to the back deck overlooking beautiful Lake Charlevoix. Off the living room is a large kitchen complete with stainless steel appliances and granite countertops perfect for preparing meals for the entire group. A dining room off the kitchen provides seating for 10. If this is not enough space for your group to prepare and eat meals together, have no fear! A second kitchen complete with two more ovens, a second fridge, and additional counter space as well as a second dining room are located off the first kitchen in the four seasons room.
There are plenty of spots to sleep in this seven bedroom home. The master suite is located on the main level off the living room and has a king sized bed, huge walk-in closet, and a full bath. Behind the master bedroom is the master den. This den can be closed off and the couch folded out to a queen sized bed. The master den also has a private exit out to the back deck overlooking the yard and Lake Charlevoix. Following the steps in the living room upstairs you will find two guest bedrooms, each with a queen sized bed, that share a bathroom located in the hallway. Three guest bedrooms are located in the lower level. A bedroom with a king sized bed and a bedroom with a queen sized bed are located right off the lower level family room. The third bedroom with a king sized bed also features a gas log fireplace and a private bath. Above the attached garage is a living area perfect for the kids with four twin-sized pull out sofa beds and a private deck. The seventh bedroom is located next to this room with two twin sized beds and a double sleeper sofa. A sleeper sofa is also available in the living room to bring the sleeping capacity to 24.
The lower level is the perfect place for entertainment with a home theater and comfortable sectional couch for movie nights. The family room also has an air hockey table, a game table, and a billiards table. Stepping out of the family room is your group's new favorite hangout spot: the indoor pool and hot tub. The lower level also has a small exercise room. Following the spiral staircase down from the exercise room you will find a large indoor racquetball court with equipment.
The Timber Ridge Lodge has many other great amenities you will enjoy as a renter. The rental home has two attached garages, one for two cars and one for four. A gas grill is on the back deck for your group to have an evening BBQ after a long day at the lake. Wireless internet is available so you may update your loved ones about the fun you are having on vacation. The home does not have central air conditioning but has 3 individual room units, one in the lower level king bedroom with the fireplace and the other two in the rooms above the garage, as well as ceiling fans and portable fans for those few warm summer days. About a mile down the road is the entrance to Young State Park which has one of the best swimming beaches along Lake Charlevoix.
The house may be broken down for smaller groups to just the main home for a lower cost. The main home includes the living room, kitchen, four season's room, lower level family room, and the two car garage. The main home has a maximum occupancy of 14 people and includes the master bedroom and den, the two upstairs queen bedrooms, the two bedrooms off the lower level family room, and the sleeper sofa in the living room. The indoor pool and racquetball are not included.
