St. Anne’s Catholic Church – This sacred church building was built on Mackinac Island in 1874. Its tall spire can be seen towing above the island from several vantage points. The congregation of St. Anne’s dates back even further than the current building, with records going back as far as 1695. A photo of St. Anne’s is sure to add a little inspiration to your Instagram feed.

For years my family rented cottages in Northern Michigan for our vacations. We crossed the bridge when it was completed and my dad walked it year after year. We loved the Lake Michigan area north of Harbor Springs and rented cottages in that area. That is still my favorite place to visit.
