He has served as a Director, Officer, and Treasurer of the Vacation Rental Managers Association (VRMA) and holds the Certificated Vacation Rental Manager (CVRM) designation. Kathie Hammond – Administration
Kathie Hammond is the Accounting Administrator for the company. She has a passion for working with people and accountability to excellence in standards of service. Kathie is a Board member and officer of the Win-Some-Women Christian ministry, which holds 2 annual conference at the Grand Hotel on Mackinaw Island hosting up to 6,000 attendees. Kathie and Alan have been married for over 40 years and have 5 children and 9 grandchildren.
Jared Hammond – Associate Broker & Association Manager
Jared Hammond has over a decade of experience in the real estate industry including real estate sales, property management, and condominium association management. Jared’s responsibilities include direct oversight of several condominium associations, coordination of special projects, and is the managing associate broker for our real estate sales division. Hobbies include camping, hiking, home improvement projects, and making the finest maple syrup south of Canada!
Nicollette Hammond – Rental Administrator and Real Estate Sales Associate
Nicollette Hammond has been with Holiday Vacation Rentals for over ten years, overseeing the company PMS and rental trust accounting. In addition to responsibilities for rental and condominium association bookkeeping, Nicollette works with reservations, housekeeping scheduling, and property management services. Nicollette is a licensed salesperson with Holiday’s Real Estate Sales division. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her three little girls, camping, hiking, traveling, reading, and making and documenting memories.
Dan Coonrod – Maintenance Supervisor
Dan Coonrod started working with Holiday Vacation Rentals in the Birchwood Property Management division in April of 2010 at the age of 15 doing some yard work and landscaping. After graduating from high school and while in college, he worked for BPM full time and started doing more, such as building repairs, painting, general maintenance, and certified drone operator. There isn’t much he doesn’t do. In the spring of 2017, he got married, and his wife, Monica, also works for Holiday Vacation Rentals in housekeeping. He enjoys doing pretty much anything outdoors, including, fishing, hunting, kayaking, and riding his dirt bike. He also enjoys working on cars with his dad and friends.
Emily Comer – Assistant Property Manager
Emily Comer joined the team in June 2019. Emily works with reservations and property management services. Emily earned her BA in Art History at Vanderbilt University. After college she moved to New York to work for Christie’s where she assisted auctioneers during multi-million dollar sales. She gained experience in online auctions by working for Major League Baseball, Advanced Media before returning to school to earn her master’s in early childhood education. She taught special education for ten years before deciding to move to northern Michigan full time. Emily spent a year at First Community Bank in Harbor Springs before joining HVR. She enjoys skiing and snowshoeing in the winter, boating and hiking with her dog, Bob Wiley, in the warmer months. She could not be happier living up north and enjoying all that Harbor Springs and the surrounding area have to offer.
Sally Brumleve – Acquisitions and Resort Services
Sally Brumleve joined the HVR team in January 2020 in the capacity of Acquisitions and Resort Services. She is an outdoorsy northern Michigan native and enjoys kayaking, cycling, hiking, snowshoeing, and camping. She has spent the past 14 years in the hospitality industry with responsibilities in front office, revenue management, food and beverages, sales, housekeeping, and resort retail operations. Her career experiences have been in Michigan, Florida, and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Prior to that, Sally spent 15 years as an entrepreneur living in the Upper Peninsula’s idyllic Les Cheneaux Islands, as owner of a charming harbor market and managing broker for an area real estate company. She has experience in residential development and the lakefront cottage market. She holds a BA in Economics from University of Michigan and an MBA in Strategic Leadership from Spring Arbor University. In her role as Acquisitions and Resort Services, Sally enjoys helping homeowners realize their financial goals through the rental management program. She feels fortunate to live in the Little Traverse Bay region where great communities, freshwater and four seasons come together.
Jennifer Tremble – Resort Manager
Jennifer Tremble is the Resort Manager at LeBear Luxury Residence Club in Glen Arbor, Michigan which is managed by Birchwood Property Management a division of Holiday Vacation Rentals. Jennifer has spent the past 23 years in the hospitality industry in the capacities of convention services, front desk operations, sales and marketing. Jennifer also spent 10 years within the private golf and country club industry in membership sales and marketing. Jennifer earned her B.S. in Park and Recreation Program Management from Michigan State University (MSU) with emphasis in program management and administration. She also holds a minor in Communications. In September of 2006 she earned her Certified Marketing Professional designation through the Professional Club Marketing Association. She resides in Lake Ann, Michigan, with her husband and two children.
Beth Richter – Owner and Guest Services Manager, LeBear Residence Club
Beth Richter has recently joined LeBear as the Owner and Guest Services Manager. She is excited for this opportunity and looking forward to meeting everyone. Beth was born and raised in Leelanau County. She graduated from St. Mary’s Lake Leelanau and went on to attended Aquinas College in Grand Rapids, MI. She acquired her BS in Business Administration and Communications. Beth’s professional experiences range from being a Banking Office Manager for 20 years, a Non-Profit Business Manager and recently as an Account Manager for a company in Utah. She married Curt in 1990 and he is a project manager for Easling Construction. They have two grown children, Emma who is 20 and Chase is 18, two dogs, Pixie and Daisey and a cat named Jasmine. They enjoy experiencing all the area has to offer especially the beaches, concerts, unique shops along with spending time with their families.
John Mocan – Head of Maintenance, LeBear Residence Club
John Mocan is the new Head of Maintenance. He is looks forward to serving the owners and guests and helping to provide them with the confidence of knowing that the facility is and will be always grounded in excellence. John is an alumnus of Michigan Technological University and started his career working for various civil engineering firms. After working in the civil engineering field John took a position at Cherry Capital Airport in Traverse City where he worked in the maintenance department before joining the LeBear team. John has been married for 36 years and has three children. John enjoys, the outdoors, dining out and being involved in his church and community.
Jeremy Hammond – Information Technology and Content Creation
Jeremy Hammond loves the northern Michigan outdoors, and his hobbies include hiking, biking, exploring, and photography. He does technical stuff for Holiday Vacation Rentals like maintaining and improving the website. He enjoys researching and writing and also creates informative content for the HVR blogs and email newsletters, helping visitors get the most out of their vacation to northern Michigan and educating vacation home owners about the benefits of renting and how to ensure great guest experiences.
